And with that, for now at least, the saga of the StressBrick (TM) draws to a close.

When I was younger I had my eye on a career as a journalist, I even studied some journalism at university, but I was just in time to see the internet step on journalism’s throat. I also discovered that I much preferred writing insane nonsense to sensible facts. I still truly appreciate a well written news story though, especially one where a lot of thought has gone into the headline. My favorite of recent years was on Gizmodo: Guy Tries to Buy Toy Poodles, Gets Fluffy, Steroid-Pumped Giant Ferrets Instead. Now to be fair to the purchaser, the ferrets did indeed look sort of like fluffy dogs if you squinted at them sideways and had never seen a dog before, but the image this headline conjures up in my mind is of horse sized, ‘roid raging ferret being passed off as someone’s new family pet.

New Lovecraftian book recommendation: “Maplecroft”  by Cherie Priest. It’s a book about Lizzy Borden fighting Lovecraftian monsters. With an axe. I believe that is more than enough to recommend the book to anyone.

I actually wrote out all the horoscopes as a treat for our Patreon subscribers, but I had such fun doing it I’m thinking about doing a horoscope maybe once a month. What do you all think?

So, tell me, anything new and interesting out there in the land of the internet, where few own pants and even fewer wear them?
