Howard Phillips Lovecraft (August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937).

Known as H. P. Lovecraft to his fans, Lovecraft was a writer of horror and science fiction. His works emphasised an uncaring universe where humanity’s wants, needs and opinions counted for naught in the face of monstrously powerful alien gods. All that could be said for humanity in Lovecraft’s work is that most of the time homo sapiens are too insignificant for the Great Old Ones and their ilk to even notice, let alone care about.

He was a long way from a perfect person, in fact history tells us he was a racist dickbag, however the effect he’s had on science fiction and horror since he was first published can’t be ignored. His work is dark, disturbing and frequently depressing…so we made an office comedy about it.

This section will get longer and more detailed as time permits. In the mean time if you’d like to read more about Lovecraft or the Mythos he created, then click on his portrait above.
